btw. referring to the usa as "the worlds greatest democracy" is kinda funny. while it's called a democratic republic (NOT a democracy!), i wonder who is represented in that republic.

High incidence of demonic activity.

anyone wondered about the large numbers of jewish people in the 1st centuary that were under demon control?

the jews were very much warned to keep clear of demons and any occult practises.

i find it odd then that there are so many people coming to jesus with this problem.

the JWs give the impression that the average jew back then was highly educated, studied the bible daily and was just waiting for the messiah to come. apart from the "demons" (*cough*epi*cough*lepsy*cough*), where did all the prostitutes and boozehounds that jesus mingled with come from? and you'd also wonder why they were herding pigs when they were not allowed to eat pork. but then again - it would be a even more boring story if you'd left away demonized pigs and drunk b1tches.

havent been dragged to a JC, but on their "shepperding calls" they tell people to not have contact with me. as if they care... lol.

exposure in high doses of radiation can destroy the lining of the stomach and allow bacteria from the intestines to invade the bloodstream, resulting in sickness.

First rock concert

i have recently talked with other members on jwd about the first time they went to a concert.

it was interesting the different choices of artists, and the age we were when we finally went to one.. my first was after i got my driver's license, so i was 16 years old.

i went to see a concert with black oak arkansas, foghat, and montrose (when sammy hagar was just a pup).

not counting local bands and not so rocky concerts, i think my first real good rock concert was "savatage". years later i saw them again with a different singer. if they ever tour around here again, i'll be there. they ROCK!

i've also seen toto 3 times, although i only like and know about 3 of their songs. been to megadeth, malmsteen, dio, colosseum, some ex-scorpions guys, and what not. i also went to some pop concerts... alanis morrisette, cranberries, nelly furtado... hmm i don't even remember all the gigs i went to. but nothing compares to savatage.

i really spent too much time in world of warcraft. luckily i'm pretty much cured by now. at the moment i like to play some "hitman contracts" now and then. you can't be too picky when it comes to games on a mac.

in other words from the jw point of view, only marry another jw.

he also quoted some anonymous person who said that.. "what is worst than being single is being married to the wrong person"....personally, my view is "it is better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all?"..

the wts are allowing many, mainly sisters to live lonely lives because of this directive to only marry other jws.
